Often we feel angry about the prayers we say are not answered, so we use urgent prayer request so that our prayers are answered immediately. But, what about “Unanswered” Prayers?
Humans can of course experience illness, financial problems, and other difficulties in their lives. Then?
The Lord teaches us to surrender all our worries to Him in even difficult situations, “Leave all your worries to Him, because He is looking after you.” 12 Circumstances may seem out of control, but actually not. When the world feels like it’s going to collapse, God will take care of us. In a situation like this everyone will be very grateful because they know God. “God is close.” Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything you desire God in prayer and petition with thanksgiving. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. “13 God can provide a way out, overcome the problems you are experiencing beyond what you can imagine. Some Christians must have experienced something like this in but if things don’t improve, God can still give us His peace in the midst of the problems we face, Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you. I have given you peace, and what I have given is not like what the world has given you. Don’t be troubled and tremble in your heart. “14
This is the point (when things don’t improve) that God asks us to continue to believe in Him – “live by believing, not by seeing” as the Bible says. But this is not blind faith. But according to every character possessed by God. A car that runs on the Golden Gate Bridge is fully supported by the strength of the bridge. No matter what the driver is feeling and thinking, even what he is discussing with the passenger in the car. What makes the car safe is the strength of the bridge, so that the driver safely crosses the bridge.
Likewise with our Lord, He wants us to trust His integrity, character, mercy, truth in our lives. He said, “I love you with everlasting love, therefore I continue my loyal love for you.” 15 “Believe in him at all times, O people, pour out your hearts before him; God is our refuge.” 16
